 MDC 47 "PESTILENCE" RIFLE.

THIS IS THE FIRST OF FOUR MODELS BASED ON OUR LIMITED EDITION FOUR HORSEMAN OF THE APOCALYPSE SERIES. THE MDC-47 "PESTILENCE" IS BUILT WITH AN ORIGINAL ROMANIAN MILITARY PARTS KIT WHICH IS RIVETED INTO OUR 1MM FULLY HEAT TREATED MDC-47 STAMPED RECEIVER. WE USE OUR AMERICAN MADE 4150 CMV BLACK NITRIDED BARRELS WHICH PROVIDE GREAT ACCURACY AND LONGEVITY. THE FRONT END OF THE RIFLE HOSTS OUR PRECISION MACHINED AK (FSB) FRONT SIGHT BASE WITH AN INTEGRATED GAS BLOCK AND MUZZLE DEVICE THAT IS PINNED AND WELDED TO 16.1"OVERALL LENGTH. THE WOOD FURNITURE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY STRIPPED AND REFINISHED IN OUR "APOCALYPSE" STYLE STAIN. THE ENTIRE RIFLE WAS COMPLETELY REFINISHED PRIOR TO OUR HAND DONE BATTLEWORN FINISH.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWING YOUR STATE LAWS. Any firearms purchased online that are not eligible to ship to a restricted state will be voided and will be classified as a refused order. 

Some lower dongs on these rifles have issues with clearance with the Magpul Pmag magazine.
This is not currently available in Illinois.

    As advertised, immediately when I seen it,I knew it was built with attention to detail. It feels totally different from my other AK, which is nice also. The functionality is pure awesomeness. Got a little annoyed with the wait, but their customer service, kept me cool. Well, worth the wait, can't wait to get outside, and actually train with this MF!!!

    When I picked it up from my FFL I was blown away how beautiful it was, but that was nothing until I went to the range it shoots even better than it looks.

    There isn’t anything else on the market even close to the fit n finish of a Meridian Defense weapon. From the muzzle break to the butt stock it’s all tight. Every time I pick this rifle up I can’t help but loose a little time admiring the craftsmanship and the overall aesthetics, it’s just that good!!

    It took 570 days to fill my order. I was given constant excuses for the delays. From parts issues, vendors to weather. I was required to make my final payment in January and told it would ship in 2 weeks and just received it in April 7. Also, was told it was shipped two weeks earlier and it was not. Asked for tracking number and was not provided one until this week, when it was shipped. Terrible customer service and response. They get your money and don’t care about their customers. No apologies, just constant excuses. Now I am so frustrated that I will not shoot the gun. I am going to sell it. MDC Response- Hi Eric, Thank you for leaving a review. We understand your frustration regarding the lead time you experienced during the build process. During the time of your order, We had been bombarded with orders and were trying to keep up with demand as the entire industry was at that time. There is no question we had delays, some our fault and some due to circumstances outside of our control. We did our best to work through those issues and get our customers their orders in hand. We provide the most up-to-date information available when offering any status of an order, even if that means relaying the fact that your order is delayed.     Dong Because it….. But seriously. What an awesome rifle. Well worth the wait. Shoots like a champ, looks amazing, dong feels great in my hand, and you can feel the quality smithing with every shot.

    I cannot begin to state how fantastic the fit and finish on this AK is, the wood and all the rivets are pristine while having an aged mad max look and finish. Looks and runs great with my sandman K, and the ALG trigger included is perfect. I am upset that the build took almost 2 years to finish when originally I believe I was quoted around a year and the emails I received with updates would state it was close to delivery which ended up being months further out. I will say in there defense any email I sent with questions was answered in under 24 hours and was always courteous and informative. Knowing how long it will take, I would do it over again as this is a one of a kind piece. Thanks for the sweet blaster and I hope they crank out thousands of this thing

    17 months later and is has arrived. Overall fit and finish is fantastic. Haven’t shot it yet so I can’t comment on how she runs. It’s a beautiful rifle but on appearance alone I would not say it was worth the wait. A Zastava M70 with an Ultimak rail and a KNS piston is just as nice in my opinion. She’s a keeper for sure but the wait time was brutal.
