MDC-47 “PESTILENCE” – NEXT GENERATION. THE FIRST OF FOUR MODELS IN OUR LIMITED “FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE” SERIES. Building on the legacy of our original “Pestilence” rifle, this next-generation model incorporates our all-new U.S.-made MDC 100 Series components and enhanced features for improved performance and craftsmanship.

  • Precision-Built Components: The original Romanian military surplus parts kit has been replaced with our precision-built MDC 100 Series parts, machined in-house for tighter tolerances and superior durability.
  • Upgraded Barrel: We’ve upgraded the barrel to our Cold Hammer Forged (CHF), chrome-lined 4150 CMV barrel, providing exceptional accuracy, heat resistance, and barrel life—replacing the former black nitrided option.
  • Adjustable Gas System: The gas system now features our fully adjustable gas block, allowing you to fine-tune your rifle for suppressed or unsuppressed use.

Receiver

MDC-47 100 series fully heat-treated stamped receiver, providing a robust and reliable foundation with tighter tolerances for improved performance.

Barrel

U.S.-made CHF chrome-lined 4150 CMV barrel (14.5" pinned to 16" OAL), engineered for exceptional accuracy, heat resistance, and extended barrel life.

Gas System

Adjustable low-profile MDC gas block, allowing fine-tuning for suppressed or unsuppressed operation to prevent over-gassing and ensure reliable cycling.

Front Sight Block

MDC-FSB combo sight/gas block (CNC machined), offering precise sighting and integrated gas management.

Optics Ready

    This rifle is an absolute dream, wait time was right around a year for me as stated. I switched out my muzzle device and added a KNS piston to the order late in the build and they still were more than happy to accommodate. It's currently at 800 rounds without an issue and it performs flawless at drills from 10-200 yards with an Eotech on top of it. The gun is such a soft shooter and very well balanced, the magwell has fit every different kind of mag I have just perfect. Now just to wait for my sandman to get out of ATF jail.

    all I can say is wow ! I waited over a year for this rifle . A couple of times I almost canceled to buy a on the shelf gun ,so freaking glad I waited.

    Wood furniture definitely appears genuine, complete with field engraving. Well put together authentic looking tool that’s fun to shoot. Glad I waited.

    There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said about this build. It's incredible and beyond expectations in every way. It's probably the coolest and most unique firearm (in an artistic sort of way) that I've ever seen, much less owned. Happily stayed patient throughout the 400 days it took to receive it. Definitely worth it.

    i got two of these one for myself and one for my brother they are absolutly beautiful fit and finish is impeccable they are truly a work of art and deadly accurate I highly recommend anything meridian defense makes

    I ordered this 20201027, I've been patient and waited over a year for this rifle. The customer service is top notch. I switched my muzzle brake a couple times but they were more than accommodating..even tho I'm sure it was annoying. I've shot about 2,000 rounds already and only malfunction is when I tried to bump fire, which isn't a fault of the gun. Action is Hella smooth. I fucking love this rifle. I own a Norinco underfolder from my grandpa from the 70' (which is clapped out) and have also shot some friends Saigas and Aresenals. This gun is a wet dream lol... Definitely with the wait for real

    Off the charts awesome! The pics online don’t do justice to details and quality on these rifles. Marco and Paul are doing next level builds and well worth the wait. Not only do they look top notch, they run top notch. Bravo guys!
