MDC-47 “PESTILENCE” – NEXT GENERATION. THE FIRST OF FOUR MODELS IN OUR LIMITED “FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE” SERIES. Building on the legacy of our original “Pestilence” rifle, this next-generation model incorporates our all-new U.S.-made MDC 100 Series components and enhanced features for improved performance and craftsmanship.

  • Precision-Built Components: The original Romanian military surplus parts kit has been replaced with our precision-built MDC 100 Series parts, machined in-house for tighter tolerances and superior durability.
  • Upgraded Barrel: We’ve upgraded the barrel to our Cold Hammer Forged (CHF), chrome-lined 4150 CMV barrel, providing exceptional accuracy, heat resistance, and barrel life—replacing the former black nitrided option.
  • Adjustable Gas System: The gas system now features our fully adjustable gas block, allowing you to fine-tune your rifle for suppressed or unsuppressed use.

Receiver

MDC-47 100 series fully heat-treated stamped receiver, providing a robust and reliable foundation with tighter tolerances for improved performance.

Barrel

U.S.-made CHF chrome-lined 4150 CMV barrel (14.5" pinned to 16" OAL), engineered for exceptional accuracy, heat resistance, and extended barrel life.

Gas System

Front Sight Block

    This is a weapon I’ve been trying to get for a couple of years. The aesthetics are perfect, the length is ideal as well. A very productive firearm, and the quality top notch. If there were any issues I would say the length in time to receive it. Had it not been for the excellent customer service from Marco my rifle would still be sitting in their warehouse collecting dust (sorry not sorry). If there’s an additional issue it would also be the stock. I wish it was slightly bigger, however it’s great regardless. Thank you for providing such a great weapon. Last but not least Marco your the best. You deserve a raise.

    Great build quality and looks. The rifle feels solid without the typical wobbly AK feel. Two thumbs up!

    In the beginning I was constantly belly aching about the wait time. Once I received it, maaaan... I had my meat hooks all over it. Breaking it down, blah, blah, blah. I couldn't be more pleased with the finished rifle. Now I'm looking at what I'm going to sell, to get myself the 5.56 version next.

    Great looking weapon, smooth action and crisp trigger break. Haven't had time to shoot it however, I own an LDP and it shoots great so assuming(yeah I know) it is also a great product.

    Ordered 2/19/23 and received 6/16/23. Absolutely amazing and quicker turnaround than I expected. Fit and finish is superb. The guys answer an email in hours instead of days or weeks. Thanks for the hard work and dedication. I will never stop singing your praises

    This Rifle, the cost, the wait time all significantly above average, but the fit and finish of this rifle is second to none, I enjoy some of the finer things in life. snap on tools, Miller welders, John Deere tractors, so of course I tried my hardest to find an imperfection or something wrong with this thing, I was unable too, for what it is, it’s expensive but if your an AK enthusiast or looking for one that is built right with perfect tolerances and rivets this is 100% your rifle and it doesn’t disappoint, it’s just something you want to hang up on the wall like the art piece it is. And best of all this rifle won’t call you one evening to tell you it doesn’t love you anymore while in another man’s gun safe and take everything you have. Highly recommend it

    This rifle is amazing. Received it this week and shot it today. Ran great suppressed and unsuppressed. Meridian doesn’t look over a single detail when building these rifles. Extremely happy with my purchase.

    As advertised, immediately when I seen it,I knew it was built with attention to detail. It feels totally different from my other AK, which is nice also. The functionality is pure awesomeness. Got a little annoyed with the wait, but their customer service, kept me cool. Well, worth the wait, can't wait to get outside, and actually train with this MF!!!
