I absolutely, without question will never buy an AK from anyone else. The build quality, attention to detail, and care they put into their rifles is jaw droppingly amazing. Seriously, this is easily my most prized gun in my collection and its no where near the most expensive. It just oozes sexy. Im debating creating a table or hanging wall unit to show it off almost like a piece of art. Well worth the wait. In fact Im about to get back in line for another one. Ill gladly wait as long as it takes.

The 14 month wait was worth it. Meridian customer service is outstanding. All of the details of a custom rifle with a buttery soft texture on every surface. The action is a little rocky out of the box but does not hang up. I suspect this will smooth out with a few hundred rounds down range. I am proud to add this rifle to my collection. Meridian did me a special by adding the original gas tube and upper handguard wood to match the BFPI finish. My butt stock came with some cool trench art. Thank you Meridian

Words cant describe this toy. Its amazing. Everything about it is perfect ALG trigger, Apoc finish and furniture, Nitride barrel and their new default muzzle brake. When i take all my toys to the range i forgot about them and spend most of my time and Ammo on this AK. Definitely the best AK out there and i have shot a few. Meridian Defense definitely know how to built and make customers happy. MDC47 is the best

I received my Pestilence back in January 2020, and in the 1.5 years that I have owned the rifle I’ve shot roughly 4k rounds. The shooting I do is mostly indoor & outdoor ranges, but I also took it to an AK fundamentals training event where the rifle was put through some hard use over 3 days. In short, my Pestilence has exceeded all of my expectations and then some. I own 5 other AKs and 2 ARs, and this is by far my favorite to shoot. The folks at Meridian Defense tuned the gas just right. It’s soft shooting but has no reliability issues in a variety of weather conditions. The dong grip just makes a lot of sense with the ultimak rail (which gets really hot quickly). With 123 grain Barnaul ammo and just a red dot (Trijicon MRO) I can consistently get 2.5” groups at 100 yards, which is damn good for a stamped receiver AK. The Pestilence looks gorgeous and I get compliments everywhere I take her. If you are wondering if the rifle is worth the cost and/or wait, it’s a fair question to ask. They are not cheap & lead times are long. All I can say is for me the price I paid & the time I waited while she was being built instantly became a faint distant memory the very first time I shot her. In these uncertain times we live in, I sleep better at night knowing my apocalypse rifle is secured & ready for any situation.

First impressions of this rifle are it’s better looking in person than what I expected. There’s a lot of attention to detail and the craftsmanship is great. Yeah it was a long wait but man was it worth it! The team over at Meridian definitely have great communication skills all emails and calls where answered same day. I spent a pretty penny on my pestilence rifle but damn right I got my money’s worth! All I need now is an Adidas jump suit this thing (the pestilence rifle)is a beast! Dnt wait too long fellas get your hands on one while you can

When first receiving the product I was skeptical, but after picking it up I knew it was worth the wait. Amazing craftsmanship and parts. The trigger isn't like anything I've ever used on an AK and the fit is just amazing. Sat in my gun room racking the charging handle with a freedom boner for hours just hearing that metal do its thing. The first range trip was equally orgasmic. Making the ears of fudds ring with a dead air brake on an AK has been well worth it. 10/10 would recommend

I was waiting for a year exactly one year but it’s well worth it unbelievable rifle I will buy another one and wait another year thank you guys you guys are the best.
