Very nicely built, well worth the money and wait.

Just a few days shy of one year since I ordered, it arrived at my FFL. First inspection revealed what appears to be a very fine tuned machine. Clean and robust. Beautiful finish. Apocalypse coating looks great. No flaws or imperfections found. Wood furniture has no imperfections and the year stamp and serial number on the butt stock is a nice touch. Bipod also secures solidly out of the way. A bit of weight on this build so you know it’s a tank, not terrible though. Excited to get it out soon and enjoy it.

The quality is outstanding! It took awhile it get it but it’s totally worth it! So glad I pulled the trigger and ordered this when I did. Definitely would recommend anyone to get one or another one of their products. Marco and Paul gave updates every time I emailed them. Thumbs up guys! Grade A work

I ordered this beast pre-pandemic and got hit with the unexpected "40 week wait time". It sucked but it was out of MD's hands so I waited it out patiently and MD delivered a bombshell to me when the wait was over. They were responsive with every email I sent. My experience with them was so great that I bought a Pestilence build while still waiting for War and Famine to be delivered. This company is a blessing to the AK world. Well done, Meridian Defense.

The build is authentic and superb in construction. MDC does it more than right! Only complaint is the grip. The AR15 plastic grip works well but seems out of period for this RPK. The 10 month lead time was a bit taxing but well worth the wait. MDC is legit and my favorite builders! I’ll be back!!!!

Everywhere I go with this rifle, everyone, gun enthusiasts to people who have never shot a gun before have their eyes glued. When it shipped to my FFL the Shop owner tried to buy it off me. I had trouble working the drum and went to a different shop that has this really cool Russian dude who served in the Russian military and he was about to cream his pants when he saw it, then he offered me 1500$ for it and ofc I said no cuz this thing is fucking awesome. This is my first AK and wow I’m glad it is. No recoil wow, whatever meridian magic these guys did it sure works. The finish is just wow a work of art.

Only reason it gets 4 stars is because I waited a long time for this rifle and the magazine doesn't fit. Other than that guns its perfect. Runs great and looks beautiful.

I'm a machinist by trade so I can appreciate craftsmanship! And all I can say is this is a work of art! After receiving it I took it apart to examine it and everything looked top notch. Even though we have a pandemic going on in parts are hard to find is very well worth the wait and I can't wait to go shooting this weekend

I ran several gun businesses such as LWRCI. I have run a custom gun business prior to that. Grenadier Precision. Prior to that I was a Weapon’s Tech (land), in the Canadian Forces graduated from the Canadian Forces School Of Electrical Mechanical Engineering to the ATT level. I currently own Kinetic Development Group. I tell yo all this to give credibility to this review. This is the finest AK I have ever seen. The parts are custom fitted and massaged. The rivets are perfect. The bolt has been polished to fit within thousands of an inch. Mikael Kalishnokov would blush if he saw this rifle and attention to detail. Put your money down while you still can. It is unbelievable. The worn finish is beautiful, like a classic guitar or a perfectly worn pair of jeans or boots. My colleagues all as if they could have first right of refusal if I ever wanted to sell it. The only way anyone is getting this gun from me is in my will. I can’t say enough about the quality of this gun.

Fit and finish is flawless. By far the best AK style weapon I've ever handled so far and lighter than expected. ALG trigger was worth every penny. This is pretty much the last AK style rifle I will buy since I will then be focusing on ammo purchase and training with it.
