Description

The MDC BD2-AK is a 2-port compensator/muzzle brake hybrid that offers recoil reduction for improved comfort and faster follow-up shots for the standard AK-47 rifle. It is a direct replacement for the standard 14x1 LH AK Rifles, thats minimizes recoil and muzzle movement.The two lateral ports reduce the felt recoil and 2 top ports help to eliminate muzzle rise. The upper ports are situated at the muzzle so the full force of the expanding gas will keep the muzzle down for a very flat recoil profile. The horizontal ports use the larger volume of lower pressure gas to reduce the felt recoil, keeping your sights on target.

    initially i wasn't too impressed. but after a recent range trip it did seem to be more effective. i had a buddy with me that didn't have a lot of shooting experience and after watching him shoot it it was very flat. for a small brake it does do a good job. fit and finish are high quality, well made.

    muzzle break took 50% of the recoil off my my M70 Zpap. Only con is its pretty concusive. The fit and finish is perfect.

    Have a Lantac on my psa, bought this for my Zpap. Feels equally effective at almost an inch shorter! Fit/finish perfect, indexed with only a half a thread remaining

    The stock slant brake was extremely inferior to the BD2 after some range time. More than enough improvement regarding less recoil, muzzle rise, and quicker follow up shots to say that it was well worth the purchase. Thanks Meridian!

    I put this brake to the test with 2 others and this was the best! Kept my rifle on target better and minimal rise or torsion. Was able to dump a 60 round mag at 25 yards all center pass.
