THE FOURTH SIN "SLOTH" IS OUR VERSION OF AN ORIGINAL KHYBER PASS STYLE AKM!

The "Khyber Pass" AK-Style rifle is composed of a mix of parts from random AK rifles and is usually referred to as a "Khyber Pass because, like Khyber guns, they are unlike any rifle produced by a factory or issued by a regular military force.

The Khyber Pass gunsmiths first acquired examples of the various British service arms during nineteenth-century British military expeditions in the North-West-Frontier, which they used to make copies. Khyber Pass AK models were made famous through their use by Guerrilla fighters against the Soviets army during the Soviet-Afghan war in the 1980s.

WE START WITH AN ORIGINAL ROMANIAN MILITARY PARTS KIT, WHICH IS COMPLETLEY INSPECTED AND DEBURRED THEN RIVETED INTO OUR 1MM FULLY HEAT TREATED MDC-47 STAMPED RECEIVER. WE USE OUR AMERICAN MADE 4150 CMV CHROME LINED BARRELS WHICH PROVIDE GREAT ACCURACY AND LONGEVITY. THE FRONT END OF THE RIFLE HOSTS THE ORIGINAL AKM POPULATION INCLUDING THE OEM STYLE SLANT BRAKE & BAYONET, THE WOOD FURNITURE IS NEW AND HAS BEEN COMPLETELY REFINISHED IN OUR ORIGINAL RED OAK STAIN. THE ENTIRE RIFLE IS COMPLETELY REFINISHED WITH OUR MIDNIGHT BLACK CERAKOTE.

The look and feel is everything I hoped it would be. I am going to abuse the hell out of this thing and I know it will love it. Looking forward to my next AK purchase from Meridian Defense.

Incredibly smooth and soft shooting rifle out of the box. The sights were straight as an arrow, and I achieved a battle sight zero with very little adjustment. The fit and finish are excellent. the bayonet locked up without issue. The rifle is a pleasure to shoot, and that is saying something since it has a metal, skeletonized stock. Over 820 flawless rounds so far. I will buy another rifle from MDC!

Very well executed rifle. I opted for the polished ALG trigger and was very impressed with how smooth and accurate the rifle operates. I look forward to my next MDC purchase.

Once again another amazing offering from the craftsmen at MDC. Not my first rifle from MDC and certainly not my last. As always an amazing weapon that totally does what is advertised.

The crew at Meridian defense knocked it out of the park, just a beautiful rifle. When I leave this world one day, this sloth rifle is coming with me. Great job, very proud to own it.
