Little Dirty

This is by far the best rifle I have ever had the chance of shooting and it just so happens to be all mine. Most AKs that I have experience with are very front heavy. The weight on this platform is evenly distributed throughout the gun which makes it easier to maneuver. Not only is this gun esthetically pleasing but it is an absolutely beast at the range. Let’s discuss the shooting. This gun shoots flat and consistent which makes it so easy to zero in your red dot. The ALG trigger is so smooth and is almost too light for me. The reset on the trigger amazing. There is clear and audible reset, which makes it perfect for staying on target for follow up shots. Meridian defense customer service is unmatched. I have connected them many times to either make changes to the gun or to check on the ETA and they have responded within 24 hours. Due to covid I had to wait longer for my gun to arrive so they even through a shirt in with my order. I am looking forward to owning more guns from MDC. The only downfall to the gun is that everyone at the range want to shoot it! Get yourself one and thank me later.

I purchased the little dirty about nine months ago; definitely worth the wait and the price. I shoot this platform only suppressed, so the upgraded KNS system was a must. Even if you don't shoot this platform suppressed, get it anyway. The tuning is easy and fun. I've shot about one thousand rounds and haven't cleaned the Little Dirty once, partly because I wanted to see how well it would do after some build-up and see if it held up to the name. The Little Dirty hasn't slowed down a bit and has even shot better. The platform comes ready for an optic adapter; I recommend the RSRegulate. It is easy to mount and take off, but it also holds zero when you want to take it off. Please don't use your optic on the front rail like a 90's Iraqi contractor. The included grip and hand stop are ergonomic, and you don't need to change them. Fan of AR stocks? If you want to pay the ATF extortion money and SBR it, it's easy to slide off the pistol brace and throw any AR stock on it. Pay once and cry once. Refrain from sinking money into a Daniel Defense AR or any AR. By the time you start customizing (yes, I know it's fun), you're well over the price tag of the Little Dirty. I know; I was running a Daniel Defense PDW 300 blackout. Long story short, I sold that piece of shit after running this platform—time for ya'll to shelve the ARs and come to the DARKSIDE.

Gun is pretty amazing very smooth action definitely the Ak I have ever handled hands down couldn’t be happier with the product but it took 17 months to receive they never tell you that if you ask to make a change to the order it restarts your time and I only received like 2 updates from them the whole 17 months unless I asked what was going on they would respond quickly just got very few updates on their on free will but all in all very satisfied

I have now had my Little Dirty for well over a year now, and it is without a doubt one of the best guns I own. I originally ordered it in March of 2020. Because of all that happened in the world that year with supply chain issues and shut downs it took a bit longer than originally anticipated. But every time I asked for an update I received one promptly and professionally. So customer service for me was also amazing. As stated its one of my favorite guns. The action is smooth as butter to me. The trigger is amazingly smooth with a very clean break. Accuracy is good as well. I have gotten good groups with most of the ammo I put through it, mostly Wolf and Tula. It has been very reliable for me, without a single malfunction so far. It shoots very smooth, with the KNS adjustable piston. I cant recommend the KNS more, especially if you plan on shooting suppressed even just a little. It makes a world of difference. All in all I am very pleased with it. If I am ever in the market for another custom AK pattern rifle I will for sure be going with Meridian!

You couldn't ask for a better Ak rifle. I'm close to 6,500 rounds trough my gun and it wont quit. The part that will really impress you is the quality of parts and quality of build that you receive. Fantastic customer service, and an excellent product are more than worth the wait.

I ABSOLUTELY BELIEVE I HAVE FOUND CHOPPER NIRVANA WITH THE LITTLE DIRTY PISTOL! This little beast generates more toothy smiles by everyone that shoots it. 4 inch groups @ 100 yards with iron sights out of the box! Smooth as silk adjustable gas system that tames the beast that lies within. To me the LDP is the finest example of a modern day AK47. Worth every penny plus more. Once you shoot a LDP, you won't ever desire shooting a friends AK at the range again as they will all be garbage compared.

This was my first Meridian build and the one that stole my heart. Truly an amazing tool, and worth every penny that I still continue to put into tweaking it to be exactly how I want. This thing runs as soft as a .223 with the dead air brake + KNS piston. Overall, would recommend it for anyone looking for their first AK or even their 10th. Only negative is the weight, but it's also a milled receiver, so that can also be seen as a plus.

The LDP has more than met my expectations. I have multiple other high end AK’s, but MDC has clearly surpassed them all. The attention to detail, the quality, the customer are all top notch. There is a reason why the wait time is so long…but so very much worth it.

There is only one thing, AND ONE THING ONLY I could really gripe about this AK for and that is the wait time. 60 Weeks is a hell of a long time to wait for anything, but man am I glad I did. I was never too much of a fan of AK-47s, but figured I want to own at least ONE and if I'm gonna own just one it might as well be a sweet one. Well after getting this thing out to the range man, I don't know anymore, I'm seeing I might have been just needing to shoot a nicer AK. Running an OSS suppressor combined with the adjustable KNS is way too smooth. Add on the clean ALG trigger and man is that a nice combo. Me and my friend who is an AK guy both agree this is easily the best AK either of us have ever shot. Not one hiccup from this AK after getting the initial gas tuned in. Ate everything I fed it and never had one hang up. It's a bit of a heavy one at about 8-9 pounds (with accessories and suppressor) for a pistol, but such is the nature of the beast that is a milled AK. If you don't mind dropping a bit of cash and aren't in a huge rush then I would definitely recommend pre ordering one of these.

To be clear this is far from a 1 star rating weapon ! I gave it a one star to get attention of others out of curiosity on why. So here it is , at the end of the day I have to put the rifle down and away in my safe , I have to pause to eat , and drive to and from the range all things that take away trigger time with me and my meridian defense LDP. Just cowboy up and buy the damn thing , you will thank me , it’s as soft shooting as a 223 AR I kid you not multiple day courses of fire various drills , 1-5 , Mozambiques , weapon transitions , reloads etc and this thing just runs . Shot times with an AK just as fast as any on my ARs . I ran steel mags , pmags, us palm , even the Korean mags not a single malfunction to include various brands and types of ammo , hollow points and grain weight all flawless . All I can say is it’s awesome and will serve you well . I have put together and built up many AK style/variant rifles and this one would have saved me so much money if I would have bought it first . Full transparency weight time sucks like watching paint dry in a monsoon but it was because the anticipation was epic and Meridian defense did not disappoint . Thanks boys love the rifle . MERICA !
